Washington County’s elected officials are starting out the New Year by issuing an open invitation to all county residents to attend all possible public meetings in 2018.
Noting, that this is the way for voters, and non-voters, to stay informed about how their tax dollars are being spent, what’s going on, and how issues up for a vote may impact them, each elected official we talked to stressed how important it is for county residents to stay informed.
There has also been consideration given to when meetings are held to give county residents the best opportunity to attend the meetings. So, let those in office hear from you concerning actions you may them to take.
Remember – it is your responsibility to vote and let your elected officials hear from you.
