School Board covers wide range of topics at Monday’s meeting ………

Washington County School Board members promised the overflow crowd present for student recognitions the new District Board Room would better accommodate a large crowd when remodeling at the old KSES campus is complete.

 

 

All agenda items before the Board members were approved including the following actions at Monday night’s meeting:

 

  • Approved Food Service Equipment purchase.
  • Approved updates to the 2017-2018 FPTC Student Catalog/Handbook.
  • Approved out-of-state travel for a Roulhac Middle School 8th grade class to attend the Career Fair in Dothan, AL on Feb. 21st.
  • Approved out-of-state travel for the Chipley High School Baseball Team to Dothan, AL on Feb. 26th.
  • Approved leave of absence for Tiffany McKinney.
  • Approved employment recommendation of Ashlyn Jeffries.
  • Approved recommendation of Rita Smalley, Secretary.
  • Approved employment recommendation of Peter Roth, Nursing Instructor.
  • Approved employment recommendation of Roland Beck, Electrical Instructor for Northwest Florida Resource Center.
  • Approved employment recommendation Kacy Messer, Elementary Teacher.
  • Approved Amy Thompson to teach out-of-field at KSES.
  • Approved Katie Jenkins to teach out-of-field at KSES.
  • Approved employment recommendation of Ashly Jefferies, Paraprofessional at KSES.
  • Approved employment recommendation of Charles Richmond, Maintenance Technician.
  • Approved change of status for Greg Mayo, Maintenance Craftsman, from part time to full time.
  • Approved transfer of Gina Carter, Teacher, to Roulhac Middle School.
  • Approved employment recommendation of Xaviera Henderson, Paraprofessional, at Roulhac Middle School.
  • Approved employment recommendation of Cynthia Zabell, Paraprofessional, at Roulhac Middle School.
  • Approved employment recommendation of Brandy McDonald, Paraprofessional at Roulhac Middle School.
