Tracy Andrews of Chipley, Florida Recognized By Gulf Power Company During Black History Month

Longtime Chipley, Florida resident and community advocate Tracy Andrews has experienced some personal and career success over the years, and, if you believe that good things come to good people, she has had the success due to her desire and willingness to truly represent her community.

Recently singled out by Gulf Power Company as Chipley, Florida’s first African-American city councilwoman and Gulf Power’s first female African-American local manager, Tracy is at once dynamic and reserved, and has a long history of involvement in the community, the city, county and region.

Election in 2017 to the City of Chipley, Florida city council was the result of hard work, steadfast resolve and simple shoe leather, as Andrews engaged the community in dialogue, illustrating her interpersonal skills and espousing her desire for ‘what is right’.
