Around five years ago, in 2014, the Washington County, Florida Courthouse was condemned due to mold, lead, asbestos and a handful of additional health hazards that rendered the building unfit for human occupation.

A documentary, in photos and video clips, highlighting the process of inspection, condemnation, demolition and rebuilding of a new state-funded County Courthouse, and including personal testimonials of those who spent much of their careers in that historic building, was commissioned by Florida’s 14th Judicial,Circuit and the Washington County Board of Commissioners, and is nearing completion, as seen in these photos by Real Florida Media, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida.
