Federal prosecutors plan to soon file an updated indictment against Lynn Haven’s previous mayor to fix some technical issues with the current one.
According to a statement from the office of U.S. Attorney Lawrence Keefe, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Florida, the updated indictment would be filed against Margo Anderson, the former Lynn Haven mayor who resigned last year after being charged with 63 counts of fraud and corruption.
The planned updated indictment comes after a judge on Friday threw out some of the charges against Anderson on technicalities, noting that some should be combined.
