Sunday, February 7, 2021’s Super Bowl results were dramatically changed as the announcement was made on Monday morning, February 8, 2021, that three additional touchdowns and a field goal had been found between 2AM and 5AM EST, after scoring was resumed, making the Kansas City Chiefs the winner of Super Bowl LV over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a final score of 33-31.
The scoring, which had been discontinued for a break somewhere around midnight local time, was resumed at 2AM EST, with the additional points found in several boxes which had been overlooked.
The results were not readily accepted by Tampa fans as large crowds of dissenters met in the streets surrounding the stadium, their voices overwhelmed by chants of ‘Fake News’ by Kansas City fans.
There was a surprising lack of media news coverage of the protests, with protesters finally dispersed by stadium security forces around daybreak.
The final outcome may be left to the local courts, with the Supreme Court arbitrating should the local appellate institutions be incapable of make that decision.
See how easy that is?
