Chipley City Council members thanked residents for all the holiday decorations displayed during the 2017 Christmas season.

Five Chipley families were recognized for their recent holiday decorations at Tuesday night’s meeting of the Chipley City Council.
Winners included:
Karen Rustin presented a certificate to Zachary and Meghan Jadofsky.
John Sasser presented a certificate to the Farrar Family.
Councilman Brett Butler presented a certificate to Rachel Webb.
Councilwoman Tracy Andrews presented a certificate to Margaret Driggers.
Councilman Sasser presented a certificate to Sandord and Patricia Spitzer.
Councilmembers also approved the following agenda items at Tuesday night’s meeting:
- Public Hearing on amending Chapter 11 or Ordinance No. 946 – This regards Private Property Standards.
- Public Hearing on amending Chapter 2 of Ordinance No. 948 – This regards the sale of real property owned by the City of Chipley.
- Public Hearing on amending Chapter 11 of Ordinance No. 949 – This regulates parking of oversized vehicles in residential areas.
