Chipley, Florida High School Holds Fall Sports Banquet and Awards Ceremony at Washington County Ag Center on Thursday, January 25, 2018

By | January 26, 2018

It was a standing room only crowd at the Washington County Ag Center in downtown Chipley, Florida on Thursday evening, January 25, 2018 as athletes from Chipley High School were recognized for their achievements on the sports fields, as seen in these photos by Real Florida Media, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida.

Invited by Head Football Coach and CHS Athletic Director Blake Wilson to get a ‘behind the scenes’ look at the event, hundreds of photos documented the setup and preparation, arrival of guests and the awards ceremonies as local talent was recognized for not just athletic prowess but also academic achievement.

One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of a $15,000 check to the Chipley High School Athletic Department from the Tiger 100, the monies earmarked for expenses above and beyond the budget allocated by the school district.

These photos are offered as a public service by Real Florida Magazine, as a way to highlight all that is noteworthy about ‘The Real Florida’ of Washington, Homes, Jackson and Bay County, Florida.
