Vernon, Florida High School Lady Yellow Jackets Lose To Chipley High School Lady Tigers in Girls Basketball on Monday, January 29, 2018

By | January 29, 2018

It appeared that the Lady Yellow Jackets from Vernon High School brought a knife to a gun fight on Monday evening, January 29, 2018 as they went up against the Lady Tigers from Chipley High School on the Chipley campus, with a final score of 72-13, as seen in these photos by Real Florida Media, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida.

Typically a strong team, the Vernon squad had been beaten down by the flu over the past several weeks, with several key players out with the illness, and they were simply overwhelmed by the Lady Tiger team.

It was also Chipley’s Senior Night on Monday as two graduating Lady Tiger seniors were honored for their achievements, accompanied by parents and cheered by friends and classmates.
