MARIANNA—The Indians beat #2 Northwest Florida State 98-91 in a Feb. 17 Homecoming contest.
Chipola shot 49%, including 46% from behind the arc. Five Indians scored in double-figures including TJ Howard and Brandon Mahan with 24 points each. CJ Williamson scored 18 points, JJ Miles had 16 points, and Shamarkus Kennedy added 10. Howard also led the team in rebounds with seven.
The Indians move to 18-7 on the year and 6-4 in conference play.
They’ll travel to Pensacola State on Wednesday, February 21. Tip is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CST.
The Lady Indians upset the #3 Lady Raiders on Feb. 17. The final score was 58-49.
Tyra Johnson led Chipola with 19 points. Naomi House added in 11 and Nana Sule grabbed 11 rebounds.
The Lady Indians move to 14-11 on the season and 3-7 in conference play. They’ll travel to Pensacola State on Wednesday, February 21.
