The Washington County, Florida Youth Fair started in the 1970’s and was originally held in Shiver’s Park ion downtown Chipley.  The 2018 Youth Fair will include crafts, photography and baked goods from local school-aged youth, 4-H poultry and rabbit projects and 4-H and FFA swine, steer and heifer projects.

A highlight of the Youth Fair is the livestock auction on Saturday, March 3, when 4-H and FFA members auction their projects to support youth projects.

There are a lot of reasons to be proud of our local youth and FFA is just one of them.  Here is a ‘Real Florida Magazine’ interview with FFA President Wyatt Patterson and Vice President Breanna Brackin, discussing FFA and the Youth Fair, on the campus of Florida Panhandle Technical College in downtown Chipley, Florida on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.
