‘Real Florida Magazine’ thanks the staff and players of the Chipley, Florida High School Tigers for the access to all the home and away games during the 2017-2018 season, as seen in these photos by Real Florida Media, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida.

Coach Mike Gates and his coaching staff are to be commended for keeping a level head during some of the more lively moments of the season, and, especially for making the State Championship Playoffs in Lakeland, an honor experienced by only a few teams across the state, and we even caught Coach Gates smiling a time or two.

Coach Gates said, ‘The CHS Boys Basketball Team along with its coaches would like to thank all its fans for supporting the Tigers. The CHS Tigers would like to send a special thanks to the following for helping the team make it to Lakeland- Panhandle Watermelon Festival, Badcock Furniture of Chipley, Sight and Sound, Metric Engineering, One South Bank, Tyndall Credit Union, Griffin Construction, Community South Credit Union, Chipley Fire Department, Hungry Howies. Chipley Tiger 100 Club, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kreis, Jesse and Alice Sasser, Tyler Porter, Griff Godfrey, Mike Suggs, Jason Gavaller, April Williams, Angie Anderson, Charles Kent, Clifford L. Knauer, Matt MacDonald and Rick Brannon’.

At the most recent accounting, over 50,000 photos were taken at the CHS Varsity Basketball games this season by our staff, along with several hours of video, and you may view much of this content on Facebook at Real Florida Magazine, and listen to interviews with business owners, community leaders and event organizers on FPTC Radio, the voice of Florida Panhandle Technical College at www.FPTCRadio.com.

Congratulations, Chipley Tigers- see you next year!
