Jim Town receives ‘Ole Ellis Washington County Lifetime Community Leadership Award’ at Chamber Banquet

Washington County Chamber of Commerce members turned out Thursday night for the annual Chamber Banquet,  cheered on recipients of a number of awards, and enjoyed in the silent auction that always attracts member participation.

 

Among those eceiving accolades at the annual event were the Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors – Kayla Albritton, First Federal Bank of Florida; Leigh Taylor Clark, First Federal Bank of Florida; Janice George, One South Bank; Nicole Mathews, Wells Fargo Bank; Kathy Rudd, Woodmen Life; Jennifer Adkison, Metric Engineering; Dell Corbin, Corbin Auto Sales; Laci Laney, Interstate Cleaning Service; Melanie Cardwell, Regions Bank; Ashley Gainer, Metric Engineering; Kristin Martin, Washington County Sheriff’s Office; Donna Meldon, Covenant Care; and Wendy White, Southern Financial Group.

 

Ashley Gainer was announced as the recipient of the ‘Jean Hollingsworth Ambassador of the Year’ award.

 

 

Receiving the Outgoing Director Plaque was Darrin Wall.   

 

Recipient of the 2018of the ‘Member of the Year Award was Janet Kinney.

Professional Magician and Mentalist Amory Hermetz of Nashville, Tennessee was the hit of the evening providing some mind-boggling entertainment that kept his audience entranced and delighted.
