By | March 21, 2018

For over a decade, ‘Real Florida Magazine’ has documented the people, events and businesses of Washington, Holmes, Jackson and Bay County, Florida in photos, video clips, print and online, and with the advent of Spring 2018 comes the end of a long cold winter and the start of another season of opportunities to enjoy all that the area holds.

From special events and festivals, to businesses highlights and political drama, to enjoying our natural resources, there truly is a lot to love about Northwest Florida culture and history.

From colorful Easter Egg Hunts and School activities, to patriotic celebrations and heritage festivals, to seasonal celebrations and holiday festivities, all this and more will again be highlighted by Real Florida Media, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida.

The upcoming Watermelon Festival, taking place each year on the last full weekend in June, is an opportunity to meet a lot of local folks, do some great people watching and learn just a little bit more about the history and heritage of the area, as seen in these photos from past Watermelon Festival events by Real Florida Media, proving that almost nobody doesn’t like watermelon.
