Sutton is pastor of New Prospect Baptist Church in Washington County.

Members of the Chipley Kiwanis Club were pleased to have Pastor Ben Sutton present the Easter program at Tuesday’s meeting.

Basing his program on Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection and making a difference in the lives of your family and community.

“Our Father wants us to bear fruit, turn away from what is wrong, and abide in Christ,” commented Sutton.

Noting that Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection is what makes everything possible for us he said this comes down to the following:

  •  Study His word.
  •  Strive to be like Christ.
  •  Walk closely with Christ.

“Our sins are paid for,” added Sutton.  And, he went on to add, “Love one another as He loved us.”

Sutton cautioned his listeners to not focus on the differences between people and cautioned “You can’t accomplish much if we focus on the differences.  He then reminded his listeners – “Do as Jesus said – Love one another.”
