This is a family owned business located about 30 miles north of Panama City Beach, FL offering trail rides to individuals or groups on our beautiful Tennessee Walking Horses. They have access to over 10,000 acres of Florida sandhills and preserved forest to explore.

Sunshine Riding Trails offer rides ranging from 1 to 4 hours all year round. During the peak of summer, rides are best in the mornings or in evenings because of the cooler temperatures. Winter rides, however, are great any time of the day! We also have a 1-2 overnight camping packages for those of you who really love the outdoors!

Horses are assigned based on the rider’s experience level. Let your guide know how comfortable you are on your horse. They have some horses who like to get up and go and some who aren’t in any particular hurry to get anywhere. Your ride can be as relaxing or exhilarating as you’d like it to be! They have taken several people who have never even seen a horse in person before so don’t worry if you don’t have any prior horse experience.

They say, “All of our horses are members of our family. They have individual personalities and are very motivated by treats. Most of our herd are Tennessee Walking horses. They are known as a gaited breed which means they move a little different than your average trail horse. They are smoother and don’t have as much bounce when given the correct commands. We will spend some time in the round pen with you and your horse before we go out on the trail to make sure you are comfortable being in command from the saddle to help ensure you have a safe and fun adventure! “
