Over 20 competitors participated in the 2018 Roulhac Middle School Corn Hole Contest on Thursday evening, April 19, 2018 in downtown Chipley, Florida, long known for spawning world-class beanbag champions, as seen in these photos by Debbie Goulding for Real Florida Media, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida.

Competing for bragging rights to the cheerful enthusiasm of family members, students and RMS staff, the athletes maintained a high level of energy throughout the contest, while enjoying the Northwest Florida spring breezes.

Roulhac Middle School Principal Nancy Holley kept the crowd engaged with announcements of drawings for door prizes, while RMS students sold drinks and snacks and conducted other fundraising activities.

Accompanied by the encouragement of Washington County School Board members Susan Roberts, Lou Cleveland, Vann Brock and Milton Brown, everyone had a good time, and at the end of the afternoon, all agreed that the event was a success.
