The American Cancer Society’s annual Washington County ‘Relay For Life’ celebration took place at Pals Park in Downtown Chipley, Florida on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 6PM until Midnight, as seen in these photos by Real Florida Media, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida.
City of Chipley Councilperson Tracy Andrews, who had spent part of the day walking downtown Chipley streets and meeting with local business owners, said, ‘The weather has been perfect and this is a great representation of the giving spirit of our area, and I am proud to be here tonight’.
Teams representing many businesses and organizations in Washington County presented games, food and opportunities to further contribute to the cause, and there were a lot of smiles.
Washington County Commissioner Todd Abbott attended the event, and remarked, ‘We are lucky to live in an area that gives, loves and lives as a community, and this is all for a great cause tonight’.
