A group of Juniorettes, all graduating seniors from Chipley High School, were the guests of honor at Wednesday’s meeting of the Chipley Woman’s Club. Along with being congratulated on their achievements, the young ladies each received a “goody bag” from the club members. The Juniorettes are shown below with Chipley Woman’s Club President Renea Rountree.
Along with offering their congratulations to the CHS Seniors, club members also inducted officers to serve for the 2018-2019 club year. Taking the club reins for the coming year will be:
- President – Renea Rountree
- Vice President – Kim Ellis
- Treasurer – Laura Joiner
- Secretary – Liz Corbin
Pictured below are Renae Rountree, Kim Ellis, Elsie Gainey standing in for Liz Corbin, and Laura Joiner.
Club member Kathy Kersey took a few moments to update members on the recent Florida Federation of Woman’s Club she recently attended.
The Chipley Woman’s Club will not meet again until September. If you are interested in joining the club, Renea Rountree can be contacted at the Chipley Library.
The Chipley Woman’s Club meets the second Wednesday of each month (September – May) at noon at the clubhouse on 5th Street in Chipley.
