The Blazing Hooves 4-H Club hosted the inaugural Open Schooling Horse Show event at 9AM on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at the Washington County Equestrian Center on Hwy 77 in Greenhead, as seen in these photos by Real Florida Media, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida.

Washington County Commissioner Todd Abbott attended the event and said, ‘This is a wonderful use for this facility, which has been neglected and underused for a long time’.
The Board of County Commissioners recently performed much-needed work at the facility, which is set up to accommodate rodeos, horse shows and similar activities.

All proceeds from the show on Saturday will go to support the Blazing Hooves 4-H Club as well to underwrite further improvements to the center.

Abbott commented, ‘We have so much for which to be thankful right here in Washington County, and seeing this facility, as well as these talented young adults here today, we realize that it is money well-spent to encourage these activities’.
