The bulk of Thursday’s meeting dealt with development orders submitted by the Washington County School District.

The first development order dealt with the old Kate Smith Elementary School campus, a portion of which the Washington County School Board is planning to develop into a new District office for the local school system.

The P&Z Commission was told another section of the property will be zoned residential for development and a parking lot is also planned for a portion of the property.

The second development order was for the old CHS football stadium which commission members were told would be made ADA compliant and a new concession stand/bathroom facility is planned.

Both development orders met with the approval of the P&Z Commission and received the support of the members.
