Members of AmVets Post 007 in Chipley gathered Memorial Day to honor fallen service members.

Post officials began Memorial Day recognitions with ROTC cadets from Chipley High School by placing flags at the graves of U.S. service members buried at Glenwood Cemetery in Chipley.
While the weather wasn’t pretty, everyone was happy to have the opportunity of placing the American Flags at the burial sites.
Following that recognition, the cadets were invited to the AmVets Post home where they enjoyed talking with and sharing time with the Veterans and their families.
