July 3, 2018, BONIFAY, Fla. – Separate controlled narcotics buys led to the arrest of two Bonifay men on Monday for the sale of methamphetamine.
Investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office conducted a buy first with Derrick J. Johanson, 31 (left), and then with Daniel Joseph Still (right), 38, both of 207 Hubbard Street in Bonifay.
Johanson exchanged methamphetamine for cash in the first transaction. During his subsequent arrest, Johanson was found to be in possession of another bag of methamphetamine, as well as drug paraphernalia. Johanson is charged with the sale of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
During the second controlled buy, Still also exchanged a bag containing methamphetamine for cash. As investigators were taking him into custody, Still was found to be in possession of five additional bags of methamphetamine
He later admitted to investigators that he had been selling methamphetamine to “make extra money” and further acknowledged doing so in a previous case.
Still is charged with the sale of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine.
