Chipley’s two Kiwanis Clubs welcome new members …………………..

Chipley’s Kiwanis Club meets every Tuesday at noon at Patillo’s Restaurant located on the campus of the Florida Panhandle Technical College in Chipley and the Sateillite Kiwanis Club meets the third Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at Skins & Bubba’s Restaurant located on South Hwy 77 in Chipley.

 

Anyone wanting to join one of the clubs is invited to attend either of the meetings and become involved in the many activities of the club.

 

Kiwanis is an organization that puts children in the forefront of all they do.

 

The Chipley Kiwanis clubs works to support the following activities in our local communities      …….

 

  •  Once a month Kiwanis volunteers read to the children at Headstart.
  •  Club members also provide gifts at christmas for the Headstart children.
  •  Volunteers also assist at the local food pantry.
  •  Kiwanis Club members participate in the annula Back-To-School event held at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley.
  •  The club helps support the Childrens Summer program at the Chipley Library.
  •  The club provides scholarships for graduating seniors.
  •  Club members provide funds to the Chipley High School and the Vernon High School band programs and the drama program as well.
  •  The club also sponsors K-Kids at the elementary school evel and the Key Club at the high school level.
  •  The Kianians also help sponsor sports programs that work with youth, including the upcoming Dixie Youth Tournament being held in  Chipley July 28th, 29th and 30th.
