A great deal of love andf work has gone into the quilt being auctioned as part of the 2018 Possum Festival and the Wausau Quilters encourage everyone to be generous in their bidding.
Funds raised through the annual quilt auction are used to purchase materials used by the quilters to make lap robes that in turn are doanted to nursing homes and other needing the warmth they provide.
Thge quilders meet every Tuesday morning at the Wausau Town Hall at 10 a.m. Along with creating beautiful quilted pieces, club members enjoy a pot luck lunch at the meetings.
If you are interested in joining in on the fun, just show up any Tuesday morning and become involved in the quilters’ various projects.
