- Adopted the Capital Outlay Millage Rate of 1.5000.
- Adopted the 2018-19 Tentative Budget of $83,403,304.
The Final Budget Hearing will be held on Sept. 10, 2018 at 5:05 p.m. in the Washington County School Board meeting room located at 652 Third Street in Chipley.
Prior to the Budget Hearing at 5:05 p.m., the school board members met in a Executive Session to discuss the District’s 2018-19 School Security Risk Assessment.
The report is required for the local school district to receive a guaranteed $100,000 from the State to help “harden” security at the local school level.
The assessment will now be submitted to the State in hopes that additional funds might be awarded to address more areas of concern.
