Researchers Test Traps for Controlling Deepwater Lionfish

The battle to control the invasive lionfish has also been going on for several years. The most effective method currently is removal using divers and spear guns. Though many lionfish are removed during tournaments, many more are not, and many are living in waters too deep for SCUBA to reach.
