Graceville man arrested on drug-related charges in Chipley ………………….

On, Friday, August 10, 2018, Officers of the Chipley Police Department responded to a tip in the area of the Florida Panhandle Technical College regarding a subject who was reportedly brandishing a firearm from a white Toyota four door car.

 

Officers located a white car on Hoyt Street at a residence with a male driver that matched the description given in the tip. Officers made contact with the subject, who was identified as Caden J. George, 18, of Graceville, Florida, who made statements to the officers that lead them to believe that there were
illegal or dangerous items in the vehicle.

 

Officers subsequently conducted a search of the vehicle. The search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of a several bags of marijuana totaling approximately ½ lb., digital scales and two firearms.

 

George was arrested and charged with the following charges:
– Carrying a Concealed Firearm
– Display of Firearm during the commission of a Felony
– Possession of Marijuana w/intent to sell within 1000 feet of a school
– Possession of Marijuana over 20 grams
– Possession of Narcotics Equipment
