This has been possible by eliminating waste and maximizing the potential of all County offices and departments, thereby balancing the budget and being good stewards of the county taxes.
As your County Commissioner I look forward to continuing to work with the team we have assembled to further improve life for Washington County’.

‘Over the past eight years we have improved roads in Washington county, balanced the budget and devised a plan to be debt free this calendar year, and we have overseen improvements to many of our natural resources, buildings, and assets.
These three elements will remain key and the focus of my position on the Board of County Commissioners of Washington county, going forward’, Abbott finishes.
