Wausau Town Council holds Executive Session on law suit ……………………..

Wausau Town officials say the report on Executive Session won’t be available to the public until lawsuit, Patricia Lynn Gothard versus the Town of Wausau, Florida, is settled.

After reconvening the public portion of the Aug. 9th meeting the following actions were taken by Council members:

 

  •  Approval given for payment of bills.
  •  Approval of the Fire Department minutes and training records.
  •  Approval of the Council minutes for June and July 2018.
  •  Approval of  Resolution 18-004 for the Community Development Plan presented by Fred Fox Enterprises.
  •  Approval of Resolution 18-005 committing to a match of $25,000 if the grant is received.
  •  Approval of Resolution 18-006 authorizing submission of a CDBG application.
  •  Received an update from Dewberry Engineers concerning plans on the new Wausau Firehouse.  The engineers said the plans are going to be sent to the electrical engineers and after that would be transmitted to the State.

The next meeting of the Sauwau Town Council is set for Sept. 13th at 6 p.m.
