Panhandle Ag Update

There are roughly 12,000 head of cattle in Walton County, making them an important part of agriculture in Walton County. The University of Florida / Walton County Extension Office is offering an educational program to help livestock owners stay competitive and up-to-date in the business. Topics covered will include reducing the cost of cattle production, herd bull management, and cattle genetics. The seminar will be held at the Agricultural Center in Paxton, FL. There will be a $10 fee to attend. Dinner is included. Meet and greet with local sponsors and register for door prizes.
