TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of T. Patterson Maney to the Board of Control for Southern Regional Education.
Maney, 70, of Shalimar, is a retired judicial officer with the Okaloosa County Court. He received his bachelor’s from the University of Kentucky, his masters from Troy State University, and his juris doctorate from the University of Louisville. Maney succeeds John Legg and is appointed for a term beginning September 7, 2018 and ending June 30, 2021.
The appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
