Washington County School District board members welcomed guests to the ribbon cutting conducted by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce that officially marked the opening of the Washington Academy for Varying Epectionalities on Monday afternoon. The newly opened facility is located at 934 Tiger Loop (off Brickayrd Road) in Chipley.
Washington County School Superintendent Joe Taylor opened the ceremonies, and Board member Susan Roberts cut the ribbon and invited those in attendance to tour the beautiful facility that already serves as headquarters for 52 students.
