Washington County, Florida Community Comes Together in The Aftermath of Hurricane Michael- Tales of Selflessness in Northwest Florida

By | October 16, 2018

There are many tales of compassion, giving and selflessness from Hurricane Michael, and here is Henry Stone, from Stone’s Meats in Chipley, Florida, being recognized and thanked by Washington County Commissioner District 4 Todd Abbott at the Washington County Emergency Operations Center in Wausau, Florida as Stone prepares and serves hot meals to emergency responders.

Another such story is Michael Taylor, shown (below) with Commissioner Todd Abbott and Washington County Commission Chairman Tray Hawkins, as Taylor helps to make sandwiches for first responders at the Emergency Operations Center.
