Marianna man killed in Oct. 24th crash …………..

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that James W. Pridgen, 41 year old,  of Marianna, Florida, died as a result of injuries sustained in an Oct. 24th crash in Washington County.

 

According to the FHP press release, Pridgen’s 2018 Ford Focus was southbound on New Prospect Road approaching the intersection of U.S. 90, while a  2014 Ram driven by Rex Jackson of Chipley was westbound on U.S. 90.  

 

Jackson proceeded to make a left turn onto the highway.  The front of the Ford collided with the left side of the Ram.  The Ram began to rotate counter cockwise and the Ford also began to rotate counter clockwise.  

 

The Ram came to final rest in the eastbound lane of U.S. 90 facing east.  The Ford came to final rest in the westbound ane of U.S. 90 facing south.
