Eastern Shipbuilding in Panama City, Florida recently was awarded the contract to build several million-dollar United State Coast Guard vessels for the US Department of Defense.
One of the prime players in this development was the Drafting Program at Florida Panhandle Technical College in downtown Chipley, Florida, graduating students a large number of certified students from the program each year, as discussed by FPTC Drafting Program students (below).
Just one of over 35 certification and degree programs offered at the college, graduates have the opportunity for many well=paid positions, many close to home in Northwest Florida and many more throughout the United States and abroad.
