The Chipley City Council heard from several citizens at their Nov. 13th meeting concerning damaged trees threatening power lines and hurricane debris being piled on sidewalks rather than street rights-of-way.

Council members want to remind residents that debris pickup is continuing, but that debris are not to be placed blocking mail boxes or sidewalks.

Council members also said there would be no utility bill adjustments dealing with the Hurricane Michael event, because no city utilities were impacted.

Council members did approve the following agenda items at Tuesday night’s meeting:

  •  The following minutes – Budget Workshop of Aug. 30, 2018; Budget Workshop of Sept. 6, 2018; Regular Council Workshop of Oct. 4, 2018; and Regular Council Meeting of Oct. 16, 2018.
