Released by the Florida Highway Patrol
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred Sunday afternoon a the Apalachee Correctional Institute.
A 2015 Dodge Card driven by 27-year-old Miguel Martinez Velazaques entered onto the out perimter roadway of the facility. The driver, who was susected to under the influence of drugs, was transported to the Jackson Hospital as a recuation. He was subsequently arrested on drug charges and DUI.
