If you Googled ‘KC’s Restaurant’ in downtown Chipley, Florida, you were greeted by reviews ranging from compliments on the food to positive comments about the recent remodeling, wait staff and service.
The early morning stillness in Chipley’s downtown business sector on Monday, November 19, 2018, however, was punctuated by klaxons, sirens and the revving of diesel engines as the entire Chipley Fire Department responded to a full-involved blaze at the business, located at 684 7th Street.
The scene was still hot at the time of this report, and the investigation just getting underway, as seen in these photos by Real Florida Media, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida, but the restaurant, one of just several in Chipley, will be immediately missed by the community.
