Released by the Florida Highway Patrol
The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that six individuals received minor injuries in a pileup on I-10 late Sunday afternoon in Jackson County.
The FHP reports that a Chevrolet Impala and a Jeep Patriot were stopped for traffic ahead eastbound lane on I-10 in the inside lane due to weather and a disabled vehicle in the emergency lane, when a Toyota Tocoma driven by Bryan Hamilton, 18, failed to stop and caused a chain reaction collision with the other two vehicles. The FHP reports that collision also caused several crashes in the immediate location. Hamilton and a passenger in his vehicle, Alexa Porto, 18, of Tallahassee, received minor injuries.
The Chevrolet was driven by Brenadette Eriwn-Stokes of West Palm Beach, Florida and the Jeep was driven by Hannah Asdersch of Panama City Beach. Erwin-Stokes and three of the young passengers in her vehicle received minor injuries. Those in the Jeep received no injuries.
