The first Friday in December is typically the date for the Marianna, Florida Christmas Parade and Festival, and many anxiously awaited word from officials about the 2018 celebration of the event in this hard-hit, hurricane-damaged area.
All Christmas parades and events, with the exception of Alford, Florida, will be held as originally scheduled in Jackson County, Florida, including the kickoff of the 2018 Christmas Season with a parade and festival in downtown Marianna, slated for Friday, December 7, 2018 at 5:30PM.
