Vernon Elementary School Principal, Mr. Steve Griffin and Vice Principal, Latina English, stand next to the VES Reading Tree covered with stars.
During December, students placed a star with their names on the tree each time they earned a 100% on a book they have read.
The challenge was to cover the tree with stars, a challenge they definitely met.
