Jody Bush is heading up the 2019 Holmes/Washington Relay for Life set for Friday, April 12th at Pals Park in Chipley and encouraged Relay team members at Saturday’s official kick off for the event to remain active and committed to making this year’s event a spectacular one.

Bush says there are many resons to be involved in Relay For Life, and that her personal reasons for committment have continued to grow in the past year. Bush said, “It seems every day the news comes of another cancer diagnosis or even worse another battle lost.”

Bush said that during the 2019 event supporters have an opportunity to be “much bigger than ourselves” and “touch the lives of people we may never meet or ever know”.

“If we all give of ourselves till there’s no more to give then we’ll know that every bit of effort put out was worth it when a fighter and family hears, “you’re cancer free!” noted Bush.
