Released by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office —–
On Monday February 4, 2019 at approximately 4:30 p.m. Robert Hastings was observed exiting a building used for storage on Birchwood Rd in Grand Ridge, Florida.
When Hastings was approached and informed that the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was called, he ran from the scene.
ACI and JCI canine units responded to assist in locating Hastings. Several hours later Hastings was located on I-10 east of the weight station.
Hastings was arrested on the following charges and transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility.
