WC Planning Commission approves three Future Land Use Map Amendments …….

Meeting in regular session Tuesday evening, March 5th, the Washington County Planning Commission held three public hearings and then approved the following three changes to the county’s Future Land Use Map:

  • A change from Agriculture/Silviculture to Low Density Residential for 33.8 acres of land at the southeast corner of Bedie Road and Duncan Community Road.
  • A change from Medium Desnity Residential to Neighborhood Commercial, Class II, for 0.6 of an acre of land at 1497 South Boulevard.
  • A Special Exception Application to allow a Residential Use on 7.4 acres of land on the west side of Hwy 277, one-tenth of a mile north of Clayton Road.
