OCALA—The Chipola Indians fell 69-62 to Eastern Florida State in the semi-finals of the State Tournament on March 8.
The Indians beat Palm Beach 75-72 in the first round of the tournament.

Chipola finished 27-5, ranked ninth in the country, but did not receive a bid to the National Tournament.


Keishawn Brewton and Bitumba Baruti were named to the All-Tournament Team. Brewton was also named All-State.


Chipola had six players on the All-Panhandle Conference team, including: First-team–Keishawn Brewton, Daniel Oladapo, Ibrahima Sankare and Bitumba Baruti. Second-team picks include Malik Zachary and Cheikh Faye.
