The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that Tavares F. Holland, 30, of Panama City, Florida died as a result of injuries sustained in a March 17 crash in Jackson County.

Receiving minor injuries were four Tulsa, Oklahoma residents in a second vehicle invovled in the crash.

The FHP reports that Holland was driving a 2000 Lincoln Town Car north on U.S. 231 and the second vehicle, a 2015 Dodge, was traveling south on the highway in the inside southbound lane of travel. As Holland’s vehicle was traveling north it veered to the west into the inside southbound lane of the highway at the same time the Dodge was traveling south. This caused the right front of the Lincoln to collide with the front right of the Dodge.

Both vehicles came to final rest in the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 231.
