Big Wheels Deliver Meals

Tallahassee leaders coming together before delivering meals to Elder Care clients

“We visited a gentleman who, when he heard my name, immediately said – ‘I had your husband for a class in budgeting at FSU.’ He went on to tell me how wonderful Gus had been to him as a student whenever he had a problem. He then talked about other professors in the public administration program. I would like to go back and visit with him sometime and hear more about his days as a student and his work in state government. It was such a joyous experience.”

Marjorie Turnbull, former Florida House Representative

Elder Care Honors Our Hearts of Gold

Rescheduled from October due to Hurricane Michael, the Big Bend Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals held their annual Heart of Gold luncheon on February 21st in conjunction with National Philanthropy Day. Elder Care was excited to recognize two of their long standing philanthropists, Donna and Michael Joyce, who were unfortunately unable to attend. Without their support and assistance, Elder Care would not be able to serve seniors in need. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Joyce for your dedication to our community and your love of Elder Care!
