Students honored at School Board meeting in Chipley …………….

Chipley High School Culinary Students recently competed in a Waiter Relay Competition and took 11th out of 33 slots on their first try at the competition. Placing were Roseanna Hanshaw, Echo Naputi and Jade Garvin. Each of these students were offered $2,000 scholarships to Keiser University should they decide to continue their education at that university.

Also, recognized at Monday night’s meeting of the Washington County School Board were the members of the Chipley High School Regional Champion JROTC Color Guards and State Bound Drill Team Members.

Ms. Linda Baker, second from the left, was congratulated for receiving the Black History Excellence in Education Award.
