Cancer Survivors celebrate with Caregivers at dinner ………………..

During a dinner hosted by the Washington-Holmes Relay for Life, Emerald Coast Hospice and Metric Engineering, Inc., and held at Shiloh Baptist Church on Monday night, cancer survivors and their caregivers were treated to a dinner to help kick off activities leading up to Friday night’s Relay for Life being hosted at Pal’s Park in Chipley.

Take a drive around downtown Chipley and look at the work being through the PAINT The Counties PURPLE! contest currently underway in town. This year’s theme is ‘Crossing CANCER off the calendar’ and is an effort to draw attention to the fight many are leading against cancer.

The Washington-Holmes Relay for Life at Pal’s Park Friday night will kick off with a Gospel Hour from 5 to 6 p.m. with special guests The Watson Family. Throughout the evening, attendees can also enjoy live music from Cedar Creek, The Drummond Family, and Sake of One.

Relay For Life is a family-friendly event and will ahve activities for kids throughout including a Dane party!

There is no fee to attend Relay.
